Connected account balances not updating with pending transactions (edited)

I saw those already. [removed - accuracy] I shouldn't need to click Re-sync (mind you it's a minimum of two clicks, more if I wasn't just looking at that one account), every time I create or edit a transaction in a manual account. I didn't need to until just a few days ago.

Well, if it's not a bug then it will have to be a super inconvenient backwards jump in functionality. Honestly I don't know what else to say…

What about the accounts that are not manual, why are we having issues in our synced accounts as well. I used to be able to put items into those and the balances would update immediately that is no longer the case. There is no sync button on those accounts.

The issue with pending transactions being delayed in updating the balance for connected accounts set to 'Balance with pending' has been escalated —
Thank you for your patience as we work to resolve this issue!

The timing REALLY makes me think that these issues have the same underlying source… let's hope!

I am experiencing the issues discussed in this thread as well. After reading the comments on this thread, I do have some questions. This is the first time I've posted here (although I am a borderline-obsessive user of the software), so please forgive me for any ignorance. For clarity, I will name the specific issue and then ask my questions beneath it.
- Manual accounts no longer immediately react to the entry of a transaction. There is a 15-minute delay. The "re-sync balance" button must be clicked each time I enter a transaction if I wish to immediately know how an account's balance is affected by it.
I understand from the above comments that the "re-sync" button for manual accounts is a new by-design feature and not a bug. Does this mean that the manual account balances updating on a delay is the new baseline behavior of a manual account? If so, why? Is it to improve speed/performance of the software? Is it an unfixable bug that requires a workaround in the form of this button? I ask this because the old baseline behavior (immediate reflection of transactions) seemed far more efficient, i.e. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". If the delay is the new norm, while I'm not a fan, in isolation it's not a dealbreaker for me as a user. I just want to understand.
2. Connected accounts also no longer immediately react to the manual entry of a transaction. There is not a re-sync button on manual accounts, which means the only option is to wait for the sync. And I'm noticing that it is often longer than 15 minutes, maybe the "few hours" described in the connected account sync frequency settings. In other words, the manually input transactions reflect when the bank updates trigger. That's only an assumption, though.
I am a bit more bothered by this issue. It makes the software feel unreliable. I'm confident there will be a fix rolled out soon, as the team has been great so far, but this problem is terribly counterintuitive to my most-used features at the moment. In fact, it renders useless most of the purposes for which I use Simplifi, so I hope this is not fixed with another sync button. I'm dreading that I'll probably have to go back to Excel to keep up with my finances until this is resolved. I guess there weren't any questions in that, but this is how I view it.
Thank you!

Although they may be related, we wouldn't escalate a balance issue with manual accounts if the "Re-sync balance" button fixes it, as this is the intended purpose of using this.
I will keep everyone updated here on the results of the escalation filed for connected accounts! And I do hope the fix helps improve the manual account issue for everyone as well.
Thanks!

I thought the resync button was for random, flukey issues. Not that we would need to use it every single time…

I'm sure you are right, and I bet when they fix the connected accounts updating, this gets fixed as well. I agree they are probably connected, but I understand why they are focusing on this one first.
