@Benny Banken , if the ability to print reports is a dealbreaker for you, and you might check out Quicken’s Desktop software. It does offer the ability to print and save reports. It does not offer a “clean and easy to use” layout by any stretch of the definitions. I really do think that Simplifi will add the ability…eventually. That said, I don’t work for Simplifi, so your guess is as good as mine.

[removed] has the ability to save reports as a file. [removed - off topic] You might want to add this! I would use it. I may switch to [removed], but I’d prefer to stay with Simplifi.

  • Printing reports would be cool, I would also like the reports to be sent as a email to my spouse and I at the end of every month/quarter/year.

I'm a fan of the e-mail reports, too, I think they used to e-mail "monthly summaries", but I don't remember getting one recently. That may need to be a separate idea posts or bug report.

EDIT: oops, in notification settings, I turned off all notifications in the past, and that included the monthly summary e-mail report I believe.

Implementing reports similar to those found in "Quicken Classic" would be a fantastic addition to Simplifi's features. This would greatly enhance the platform's functionality and provide users with even more comprehensive financial insights.

ya, if you’re going to increase pricing to $71.88, I sure hope to be able to PRINT/Export (at the very least) a Net Worth Report!

I REALLY need a way to get my reports to my accountants, without giving them access to everything, or having to recreate them from a csv….

@Benny Banken The request is going on 4 years and still waiting for the ability to simply print a report. Hopefully with the price increase more developers are hired so some of the basic requests can be implemented and rolled into production. Simplify could easily be a premier product only if…

  • Agree … we need to be able to print reports!!

  • I want this feature too.

I am working off my credit cards. I deleted their accounts and now I just get an item in the usual transaction list. However my payments to credit cards do not show up in any reports—- not even the big one where I paid one off. They are not checked to be invisible to reports. It makes my reports pretty worthless. Why don't they show?

Hi. I am trying to get a handle on what you are doing here. It sounds like you have deleted the Credit Card accounts and now are just paying off the debt by doing monthly payments from your Checking Account? Normally, when one is paying off debt, this is a transfer so it doesn't count as spending. If you are using a transfer category or credit card payment category, it won't show up in Spending Reports.

But you say that you have it checked "not to be invisible" in Reports. But if you have this as a transfer or Credit Card Payment, it will only show in the Spending Plan (if you have unchecked hide it from Spending Plan). You could create an Expense Category called Credit Card Debt or some such, tie your payments to that, and then it should show up.

Another way you could keep up with this would be to create a liability loan account and call it credit card debt and pay it down by created payments to it. Then you could keep up with how much you are paying and how much you still owe.

Let me know if I am on the right track or not?

  • Absolutely! Made similar request/post recently & was directed here by Customer Service.

Attached are examples of types of reporting I'd like to see, these from Countabout which I recently gave up on for other reasons (account links were breaking at increasing frequency, & difficult/impossible to fix).

    Thx.

I can’t believe Simplifi does not have the capability of printing reports! I am gathering information for my tax preparer and need last year‘s medical expenses, charitable contributions, etc. The inability to print makes this a totally useless program. I will be canceling Simplifi and going to another program. [rant redacted]

I'd like to be able to download a forward looking view of upcoming spending on Quicken Business. I can do a profit/loss download to .csv which is great, but it doesn't help me with a forward view. We signed up to be able to do 12 month views. Backwards is fine with .csv, but need to look at future months with our projected income and expenses. Please add this feature to be able to download the Spending Plan to .csv.

Welcome!
