Auto calculate/distribute the amount of a transaction split (edited)

Hi - I currently use Quicken Financial as my personal finance software. Once I split a transaction, I can go into the "Amount" field where the full transaction amount is listed and enter "/2" which will automatically split the transaction in half (do the calculation for me), rather than manually calculate the split myself. For reference, all my transaction splits are in half. But even if an individual wanted to split a cost into thirds "/3" etc. I think will be helpful. I find this super helpful and efficient in Quicken Financial as its a huge time saver since I deal with a high volume of transaction splits.

Simplifi uses the number of votes for a particular item to help them determine the priority of what makes it into their product road map.

Just so I don’t misunderstand you, are requesting an automated way of splitting the amount?  Or a built in calculator?

Hi Simplifi,

I've been using this product for almost a year now and so far I love it, but I would love if the Split transaction button would automatically distribute the total amount between the split items. So, if I split two times it will automatically divide the amount by 2. This would be very time saving for me and I'm sure for most users rather than using a calculator to divide the total amount.
