    Please add My529. This was first requested back in 2020. It was available in Mint so it shouldn't be hard to do. Unless you're not trying… I just signed up for a Quicken Simplifi today, did I make a mistake?

    Just signed up with my529 for my daughter so adding my vote here as well. Looks like this has been an ongoing request since 2021 so I'm guessing it is not coming any time soon….

    Not sure how much this comment and vote matters, but adding to the chorus here!

    @Coach Natalie - what is the roadblock here? Is it Simplifi being unable to replicate what Mint already had in place ? Or is it My529 not allowing Simplifi access to its API ?

    I ended up switching to [removed] in large part because of this.

  • All, I chatted with a Simplifi CSR about the lack of connection to my529.  He indicated that Simplifi has asked my529 to establish a connection with them, but my529 has not replied.  To get some traction on this request, I would suggest additional my529 customers contact them about this request so that they feel some pressure to act on the request.  my529 contact info can be found here: https://my529.org/contact-us/. . For context, here's the relevant portion of the conversation with the Simplifi CSR:

    • 11:43 AM | Me: One more question while I've got you online. I've been waiting/hoping for this issue to be resolved for over a year. I know it's on Simplifi's "todo" list (based on the message on the webpage).   • Update from my529:

    Thank you for your inquiry regarding connecting your my529 account(s) to a third-party external platform or financial app (“Solution”).

    As you are likely aware, there are multiple Solutions that connect to financial accounts in general to obtain account information (e.g., balances, transactions).

    my529 is revamping its process to provide financial data to external parties, focusing our efforts on new financial security standards. Currently, my529 is not adding any new third-party Solutions. We hope to phase in the new security standard by the end of second quarter 2025. 

    Once the new security standard is in place, my529 will notify account owners on how to connect their my529 data. External party platforms and financial apps that do not meet the security standard will not be able to connect. At this time, we have not determined which platforms meet the new security standard.
