The readability of the "Total net income" can be easily improved

A super simple change to instantly make this report more readable and intuitive at first glance would be to swap the red and purple colors. Green = Income makes intuitive sense, Red = Expenses makes more sense than purple, and then we can use purple as the Net Income.

I know this change would take hardly any time at all and I really think it would greatly improve the visual clarity of the chart.

I believe the colors you're seeing fall in line with our new color scheme that was rolled out toward the end of last year. Typically, you'd want to create an Idea post to outline and request a change like this, however, in this case, I think you'd want to add your vote and feedback to this existing request for a more modern color scheme in general:
