Add "Last 12 Months" To Reports

Please add a date range option to the Net Worth report for the last 12 months, and make it the default. Needing to manually select the date range for the last year (12 months, NOT the last calendar year) is frustrating. Moreover, the current default of the last 6 months isn't enough range to see a meaningful trend in the chart.

Yeah, I created a net worth manual account in Simplifi to show my net worth over time for the last 15 years from Quicken data. I didn't need all of the individual transactions, but being able to see net worth over longer times (I can see when we had kids :)) is motivating and rewarding

Last 12 months seems to me more meaningful than Last 6. Making the setting sticky would be nice so that what you last picked remains every time you go back to the page.

I agree, last 12 months is a lot more useful than last 6.

I'd like this feature as well. Would also like to set a default duration, e.g. last 12 months or This Year, etc.

One of the default options for reports, spending, etc. should be year-to-date, or the last 12 months. Seems like that range should be expected as an option.

I agree that I would prefer Year to Date as my default option over Last 30 Days.
But mostly what I would want is "remember the last range I used and show me that again".

Year to date already exists as this year. This request should be just for last 12 months. Also, the investments/balances section has a last 365 days balance option, the reports section could incorporate the same, which is close enough to last 12 months. I am upvoting this request for the last 12 months option.

Finally, the request for last 12 months already exists. Has about 30 votes.

There is an idea for saved reports. Check it out.

This feature needs more vote attention.
Last 12 months was a feature i've wanted since I started using the software, but I always considered it low priority.
Now, many of the other features I was hoping for got done, so I'd like to bring some attention to this one.
If I select "Last Year" it can already show me 12 months of data. So what is being asked for here is to just get a new date range that was in Quicken Classic (the "default" there, from memory).

Yes, the last 12 months will include expenses that happen annually.

I'm not sure why this isn't in by now.
A year's worth of current data for all reports is very important to see things like spending, income, etc. All reports should have this option. Continually having to select a year's range is a pain, and if one is not careful, one might miss that the selection has changed to something else.3 -

Please add “Previous 6 Months” and “Previous 12 Months”!

In addition to the rolling 12 months request, I would also like to see an option (maybe a checkbox?) to base it on fully completed months only. This is useful when calculating averages because it removes the noise of timing within the month.
E.g. if it's December 3rd, I would like a way to quickly select the full 12 months of December 2023 to November 2024.

A "Last 12 months" option without having to set manually be a great time savior in the report tabs options. A floating "Last 12 months" selection would simplify and speed up things without having to interact with the calendar everything I check it.

I voted for this one a while back, but want to add more reasoning:
-On the web, the 12-month view still includes monthly amounts (whereas if I picked multi-year, they might be annual amounts), so it would be nice to go back through more of the history based on monthly amounts - I almost think 13 months would be better because it would let me see 'this month, last year' to compare it to.

@RobWilk For me the 12 month view is to reflect of a year's worth of spending, of course depending on when you run the report, this current month will make the year a little short. If the feature becomes 13 months, then the year's spending is always over, even more so when you run the report late in the month. While neither reflects a year accurately, for me, the goal is to see a year, so 12 works better for me. That said, I do like seeing the Month to Month comparison view, which seems like a different feature.
I created a request that may not be what you are looking for, but its a Mint feature that I did use, monthly or so, to compare this year's to last year's spending.

+1 for LTM. Also would be helpful to be able to compare to prior time period for income and spending (e.g., LTM would compare to 12-24 months ago, etc).

I wish I could slip a dev a Benjamin to knock this out before lunch!

I upvoted it too. I was dubious before but y'all convinced me. 😀
