Actual spending versus target/budgeted amount
I know there was much discussion about this after the wave of Mint refugees migrated over to Simplifi (myself included), but I'm getting lost in the flood of posts in the forum about this, and I know there have been a bunch of software updates recently so perhaps the answer has now changed.
Is there a way to see in one place a breakdown of your actual spending across all categories as compared to your targeted/budgeted spending for any specified period (a given month, a given year, year-to-date)?
For example, if I want to see a chart showing how my actual spending in 2023 fared against my targeted spending limits for that year, is that doable in Simplifi? If not, is there an active feature request asking for that ability?
Thank you.

The closest you can get to see actual versus target is using a watchlist with a target amount. There is only one target amount in a watchlist, so if that changed during the year, you will only see the comparison with the most recent target amount.
The name of the watchlist has an A next to it as I have my watchlist display set to Alphabetical on the web app. I want to see the watchlist below first.
There is a feature request open for an actual versus target budget. Vote for it below.
As a former Mint user, I simplified my budget and only track a few categories in the spending plan. I use watchlists to monitor last 12 month averages for income, expenses, and net income as well as for a handful of tags and categories. I now seek to spend less than what I make on most months.
Other feature requests I want to see implemented to get features I miss in Mint:
Add Percentages to Reports [edited] (1 Merged Vote) — Simplifi (simplifimoney.com)
Ability to run Reports by Subcategory (edited) — Simplifi (simplifimoney.com)
Add "Last 12 Months" To Reports — Simplifi (simplifimoney.com)
