Update on Northwestern Mutual connection addition status?!?
1 -
New to Quicken Simplfi. The one piece missing from my setup is Northwestern Mutual. I have several insurance and investment accounts with them. I am suprised Quicken has not connected with them. Hopefully soon.

The last official update on this was 2 years ago. Is there any new information to share? Is this something that we can expect to be coming in the near future?

Update on Northwestern Mutual connection status, PLEASE?
1 -
Hey everyone, we will be sure to post here with an update as soon as one becomes available; there is no update to provide at this time. This request has been forwarded, however, we can't guarantee we'll be able to add support for a requested bank. What you all can do to help from your end is contact Northwestern Mutual and request support from their end. You can share this link to our service provider (Intuit) with them:
Sorry for not having a better answer, but I hope this helps!

Update please?

i noticed that requests for this date back FOUR YEARS.
It was on mint. What gives?

This isn't the same company as Mint, though, they do use Intuit (Mint's parent company) for some of the connections.

It's completely insane how long features like this take to implement. NWM is a massive institution and this should not take 4+ years to implement with very little feedback throughout. You either need more staff or better prioritization of features. I am not very inclined to pay for an app which cannot track over 70% of my net worth.

Even more maddening because it USED TO WORK! The connection got broken and was never fixed. Very frustrating.

Any update on these requests. I have insurance loans I would like to automatically track.

Why has this not been fixed after so long? Very frustrating when it worked previously in FREE Mint!

Any context as to why this seems to be an available connection in main Quicken, but not in Simplifi? Is there a technical difference that prevents the connection from being used here or is it a hidden gate meant to encourage people to move to the more expensive product? Which, by the way, would be an option to do if there was an easy way to migrate data from Simplifi to Quicken once you have outgrown the platform or begin to need more complex functionality.

+1 request for NW Mutual

Noting that this hasn't had an admin update since 2022 and checking in on the status here!

Where's the update??? Northwestern Mutual is a huge institution. As (many) others have already stated, this used to work and now does not. It worked with Mint, and your company promoted us to move over to Quicken once Mint shut down.
Northwestern Mutual has stated they are ready to work with Quicken. What's the hold up?

Note that in another discussion (mysteriously closed) that Northwestern Mutual says the ball is in Quicken Simplifi's court: https://community.simplifimoney.com/discussion/11473/northwestern-mutual-investment-services#
So the fact that "Coach Natalie" keeps saying that it might be added in the future isn't really helpful at all. This should be very simple functionality that people need, and it's pretty obvious that QUICKEN HAS IGNORED THIS REQUEST FOR OVER FIVE YEARS NOW.
This is a service we pay for. Have your IT department make a freaking phone call to NW for god's sake. I work for a bank - this isn't that hard.1 -
I would also love to hear an update on this one.

Hello everyone,
It appears that Northwestern Life Insurance is now available via our Finicity aggregator. If anyone experiences any issues with this connection, please be sure to let us know by creating a new post:
Thank you!

I tried this out by selecting Northwestern Mutual Insurance in the 'add account' tool and the good news was that it pulled up my IRA. I thought maybe it wouldn't pull up investments, but it appears to be working (we'll see as time goes by).
