PayPal Credit Transactions Stopped Downloading

PayPal/PayPal Credit is no longer adding new transactions/updating.

There's no error being displayed, the account totals are listed in the "Accounts" sections, however when I click into the account to view the transactions, they have not updated since 4/3/2024. I reset the connection twice, then deleted the connection and reconnected, no transactions are importing.

I have noticed this too with the “PayPal Credit, Mastercard, and Crypto” connection. I’m missing transactions since 4/2 for my PayPal Mastercard. There is no error or indication of it not working other than missing transactions. I have 2 factor authentication enabled and it prompts for that, updates the balance but stopped syncing transactions.

I'm having the same issue with the PayPal Credit, Mastercard, and Crypto connection. No new transactions since 4/2/24. Balance is correct, 2 factor auth goes through fine. Regular Paypal Account transactions from the last week do appear.

Same - last transaction I have was 3/23/24. Balance is correct, but no transactions.

Same with me. And nothing new since 3/23/24. I've deleted and reset everything up. The balance for my PayPal card appears correct under Credit Card>PayPal Cashback World Mastercard, but no transactions there.

my connection was repaired a few weeks ago, but suddenly got broken again this week and is once more no longer updating. @Coach Natalie is this repetitive issue affecting all cards issued by Synchrony Bank or just the PayPal card?

I'm sorry to hear that you are all missing transactions from the PayPal Credit, Mastercard, and Crypto connection. As you can all see from the above discussion, this issue has been going on for a while now, though I'm not sure why it's suddenly popping up again for multiple users. With that, we need to gather some data and examples to have our engineering team take a look:
- The name of the account the transactions are missing from, as it appears in Quicken Simplifi.
- The Date, Payee, and Amount of a few example transactions that are currently missing in Quicken Simplifi.
- A screenshot of the example transactions from the bank's website.
- A screenshot of the corresponding register in Quicken Simplifi showing that the transactions are missing.
We also need logs, which can be submitted via the 'Send Feedback' option on the Quicken Simplifi Web App:
- Log into the Quicken Simplifi Web App.
- Select Profile from the left-hand navigation bar.
- With the Profile menu open, hold down the Option key for Mac or the Alt key for Windows, and then click Send Feedback.
- Leave all boxes checked, add a brief description of the issue, and then click Send.

is there anyone else who has PayPal's Mastercard suddenly not have any transactions, posted and/or pending, not show up? I though maybe I needed to reconnect the account but doing so hasn't brought over the missing transactions.

Hi all,
I just loaded all missing transactions when I logged in tonight. Might be worth trying.

Since I last posted on 4/21, my Paypal Mastercard transactions have been loading without issue. However, now the regular Paypal Account (checking) is not loading transactions, the last one I downloaded was on 5/4/24 and there have been a few in the weeks since.

That's great to hear that your Mastercard transactions have started downloading! For the separate issue of transactions not downloading in your PayPal checking account, you'll want to go ahead and create a separate post so it can be properly addressed.

Credit is downloading transactions but no longer PayPal transactions. It has been on going since beginning of May.

To clarify, are transactions not downloading into your PayPal PayPal Credit, MasterCard, and Crypto connection, or are you seeing an issue with a different bank? If the latter, please create a separate post to report your separate issue, as this thread is for PayPal Credit accounts specifically. Otherwise, please be sure to follow our Alert for updates on the known issue with PayPal:

When you download transactions from the PayPal credit website in qfx format and attempt to load them into Quicken you receive the error [Quicken is unable to complete your request OL-221-A]. This has been happening to me since 04/2024 as well. I have not been able to reconcile my account. I am always on the latest version; currently R57.12 Builf 27.1.57.12 running Windows 11 Enterprise. I have attached the qfx file after changing the extension to txt and an the internal <ACCTID> element. There are many missing closing XML elements but that isn't a requirement in your proprietary qfx format.

Hey everyone! Our engineering team is working on this issue and they'd like to know if it's still occurring for you all. If so, they need some new data and examples. First, to ensure that the issue is still actively occurring with new transactions, please follow these steps to establish a fresh connection with the bank:
- Make all of your 'PayPal Credit, MasterCard and Crypto' accounts manual by following the steps here
- Once you see the account(s) listed in the Manual Accounts section under Settings > Accounts, go back through the Add Account flow to reconnect to the bank.
- Carefully link the account(s) found to your existing Quicken Simplifi account(s) by following the steps here.
If the issue persists with new transactions after doing so, please provide fresh data as follows:
- The name of the account the transactions are missing from, as it appears in Quicken Simplifi.
- The Date, Payee, and Amount of a few example transactions that are currently missing in Quicken Simplifi.
- A screenshot of the example transactions from the bank's website.
- A screenshot of the corresponding register in Quicken Simplifi showing that the transactions are missing.
Please also submit your logs via the 'Send Feedback' option:

@Coach Natalie The issue has not been occurring for me since 4/21/24. Transactions for the Paypal Mastercard don't load successfully every time I refresh, but if I log in consistently then they seem to load at least once a week.
