Ability to Reopen Closed Accounts (edited)
Can you add that?
Ability to Bulk Merge/Delete Payee & Category Rules (edited)
I've accumulated hundreds of duplicate and unneeded transaction rules that I'd like to cleanup and consolidate, but deleting rules requires a right click for each one to remove. It would be great to be able to multi-select a batch for deletion.
It addition, please create an option to select multiple rules and then merge to deduplicate.
QBP: Ability to delete ALL business categories (edited)
Regarding the Idea Post at the bottom, I see it's closed and indicates that it was "Completed". Still, I find that these three (3) can't be deleted or the category name can't be edited.
Instead, when I click on them, it shows this…
I also don't see the ability to "Disable" them; truth be told, I don't see a way to "Disable" ANY Category. Maybe the original poster meant Delete?
For easier data entry, I'm adding a blue dot to all my business categories.
For any that I truly don't need, I want to do this Maybe someday I'll build up the nerve to delete them outright.
Has anyone else found they can't edit/delete these three specifically?

QBP: Separate lines in the Notes field should appear on the Invoice as separate lines (edited)
Adding the ability to start a new line (carriage return) in the Note field would be very helpful. Having up to 10 lines in the Note field is also helpful.
Missing Alight Solutions (3 Merged Votes)
They are the financial institution for many 401k accounts. This works in Quicken, but is not yet in Simplifi.
Please add a “separate” account designation/ability to exclude an account from Net Worth (edited)
In Quicken Classic, some accounts can be designated as “separate”—meaning they are included in quicken and tracked, but they are not included in the calculation of net worth. Please enable the same opportunity to designate an account as “separate” in Simplifi.
Examples might include children’s accounts, donor advised funds, and more.
Re: Using splits (multiple categories) in Recurring Transactions (4 Merged Votes)
We ARE working on this and soon is getting sooner. I expect to start our Early Access in the next month.
If anyone wants a sneak peak to confirm that our first version will meet their needs, please DM me and we can schedule something.
Ability to deactivate or hide a category that is no longer in use
The goal would be to "hide" or "deactivate" categories so that they no longer show up in the list of categories available to add to new transactions, but without deleting them completely so that old transactions with those categories can keep them.
An example would be I have a wedding category, and we got married and so it's no longer relevant, but the algorithm still tries to auto categorize things to that category. So I have to manually fix it.
Re: Using splits (multiple categories) in Recurring Transactions (4 Merged Votes)
I'm new user to Quicken Simplifi, but a long time user of Quicken Classic and decided to switch to Quicken Simplifi mainly because it connects to the Apple accounts in Apple Wallet.
However, I have just discovered that Quicken Simplifyi doesn't accommodate category splits in recurring transactions. This is a non-starter for me. As a retired person, I have multiple recurring income sources, each with their own recurring deductions, and I also have recurring bills that have recurring category splits.
It would difficult for me to accept that I would have to spend time editing each of these transactions every month to properly categorize their associated deductions and expenses.
Unless the Quicken Simplifi Team has a near term solution for this issue that appears to be outstanding for quite sometime, I will have to return to using Quicken Classic until something can be done.
Re: Split transactions should be treated as separate transactions (2 Merged Votes)
Hello everyone,
The new Transactions List includes a "Show Split Items" option that displays splits as individual transactions. This is located in the gear icon at the top of account registers:
If this new feature doesn't meet any of the use cases outlined in this request, we will ask that separate requests be created for each item still needed for split lines. This will allow our product team to gauge how many users would like to see each specific change made. Here are the existing requests I was able to find:
Thank you!
